Borderlands 3 getting new expansion in March
Time: Mar. 2, 2020At PAX East, Randy Pitchford and Gearbox Software announced the future of Borderlands 3, including a complete presentation of the game's second DLC: Guns, Love and Tentacles.
Guns, Love and Tentacles will be the marriage in the game of arms tycoon Wainwright Jakobs and the peculiar hunter Sir Hammerlock. While Borderlands 3 players prepare for the wedding, the city of Cursehaven sees an invasion of Cthulhu-like monsters. Players will join Jakobs, Hammerlock and Gaige to save the marriage of the fanatic cult couple.
Guns, Love and Tentacles offer all the content that Borderlands fans have been waiting for with new additions, such as new bosses, new class modifications and powerful weapons. In addition to Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot, the new expansion will be DLC's second offer in Borderlands 3 as of December 2019 and two extensions not yet announced.
Gearbox Software will launch Guns, Love and Tentacles on March 26. Players can ignore the main story of Borderlands 3 and head straight to the new planet Xylourgos to begin the new expansion.
During the presentation, Pitchford also provided some details about DLC 3 and DLC 4. The team is currently working on DLC 3, which seems to have a Western theme. While Pitchford claimed that DLC 4 could change, he announced that players would deepen the heads of "our favorite psychopath," probably through the War from Borderlands 2 character.
On March 13, Borderlands 3 will finally arrive on Steam. At first, the title will offer a cross game between Steam and Epic Games Store.
